Our Celebrity Christmas Trivia Contest, to be held at the Fox N Hound on Thursday, November 19th from 4:30 - 6:00 pm, kicks off the Christmas Stroll in grand style! At 4:30, watch as community leaders and celebrities compete for bragging rights and the Foxy Flakes Trivia Award. Test your knowledge of Christmas trivia and enter to win some fun door prizes. This year’s Colouring Contest picture “Rolly & The Snow Drifters” is a Stephen Bauckman original. Pictures may be picked up at any Riverview business participating in the Christmas Stroll and must be returned prior to noon on November 27th to either the Riverview Mall Colouring Contest ballot box located by the Christmas Tree or to Shoppers Drug Mart Riverview. The Downtown Riverview Business Association is giving you $1,000 Reasons to Shop Riverview First just in time for Christmas! Fill in a Shop Riverview First Shopping Spree Ballot at participating Riverview businesses on November 26th for a chance to win a $1,000 Riverview Shopping Spree.
How the Contest Works:
- Visit one or more participating businesses on November 26th and enter a Shop Riverview First Shopping Spree ballot at each location. The more businesses you visit, the greater your chances of winning.
- The winner will be determined by random draw on Nov. 30th from all eligible entries received.
- Winner will receive gift cards for a total amount of $1,000 redeemable at winner’s choice of participating Riverview businesses. Gift cards can not be redeemed for cash.
One entry per person, per business. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Contest Rules and by the decisions of Downtown Riverview Business Association which are final and binding in all respects. Winner‘s name and photo may be published.
Riverview Arts Centre Inc.
Riverview Arts Centre is once again hosting Santa’s Theatre Tour at Sobeys Riverview on Thursday, November 26th from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Santa and Mrs. Claus will welcome youngsters near the main entrance of Sobeys, followed by Christmas carols and stories with Suz Ella Snowflake. Ivan and Vivian Hicks will provide musical entertainment. Come and join representatives from the Riverview Arts Centre and the Sobeys crew for cookies and holiday fun between 4:00 - 5:30 pm. Parents and grandparents are invited to attend Santa’s Theatre Tour with their little ones. Gift certificates will be available for Riverview Arts Centre events as well as tickets for upcoming shows. Join us at Coverdale Centre, 55 Runnymeade Road, for an evening of Holiday entertainment with musical guests Trio Ingenue, Lesser Moncton Chorale, junior members of Voice Studio Melody Dobson, Justin Guignard, and others. Enjoy the ballet performance by DancEast from their production of “Clara’s Dream” and indulge in some holiday refreshments following the concert. As a special treat, Jolly Old St. Nick will drop in from the North Pole to have a cookie with the wee ones and double check his Naughty and Nice lists. This event is free of charge.
